You can install more than 50 apps on your Samsung Smart TV. But managing all 50 apps is a hectic task. To simplify the task, Samsung introduced the Move Apps feature. Using the Move feature, you can rearrange apps on your Samsung Smart TV from the Home screen as well as the Smart Hub screen.
How to Rearrange Apps on Samsung TV Using Remote
To rearrange the App section on your Samsung TV, you need your TV remote or use the Samsung TV remote app available on the Play Store or App Store.
1: Turn on your Samsung TV and grab your TV remote.
2: Now, press the Home button (or Smart Hub button) to open the Home screen of your TV.
3: Navigate to the Apps option using your remote and press the Select button.
4: In the Apps home screen, select the Settings option on the top right corner of the screen.
5: Now, you can see the downloaded apps in the next step.
6: Select the app you want to rearrange.
7: Press the Down Navigation button over the app to open a drop-down menu (In some TVs, the drop-down menu will be opened automatically).
8: From the drop-down menu, select the Move option. Now, your selected app will jiggle.
9: Using the navigation buttons, move the app to the desired space and press the Select button to rearrange apps on your Samsung TV.
Using the drop-down menu, you can also Uninstall, Add apps to the home screen, and Lock/Unlock the app.
How to Rearrange Apps on Smart Hub Launcher
Like arranging the apps on the Apps section, you can do the same on your Smart Hub launcher for quicker access.
1: Press the Home button on your TV remote.
2: Now, highlight the App on the SmatHub launcher you want to arrange.
3: Press the Down Navigation button on your TV remote until the drop-down menu appears.
4: In the drop-down button, you can see the Move and Remove options.
5: Select the Move option. Now, the app will jiggle like in the previous method.
6: Select a spot you want and press the Select button again to rearrange the apps on the Smart Hub launcher.
7: Click on the Remove option to clear the app from the Smart Hub launcher. It won’t uninstall the app.
You can use the same steps to rearrange apps on any model of Samsung TV, like Series 6 4K UHD TVs, 2021 TVs, and all the other models.
